La’Telve

La’Telve is an Italian-Turkish name. La’ in Italian is to go there. And “Telve” is a Turkish word which means the thick remnant of the Turkish coffee. In Turkey, after drinking coffee, people would turn down the cup and read the fortune.

La’Telve cafe started in Kazakhstan by owner Sadet Gul. Sadet graduated with a food engineering degree. Along with her husband, started a number of successful cafes, bistros and restaurants in Turkey and Kazakhstan. These are Cafe Doner (Kazakshtan), La’Telve (Kazakshtan), Cafe Burger (Kazakshtan) and Bistro Rose (Istanbul, Turkey).

They are now bringing their food expertise here in Scotland. So drop by anytime and taste the freshly made food that La’Telve offers.
